Who We Are
Our Facilitators

The Zeidler Group is made up of hundreds of diverse facilitators in the Greater Milwaukee area and beyond who we’ve trained to facilitate small and large group processes.
We are committed to local &
resident-led programming.
Our facilitators come from
the communities we serve.
Our facilitators come from a wide range of experiences and professions, but they all value the power of listening circles, and believe in the actions of facilitated dialogue – building trust, humanization, deep listening, and speaking from the heart. We offer a public facilitator training every month, and private trainings for organizations and groups. Contact us for more information.

Sharon McMurray
Program Director
Ms. McMurray has over 3 decades of experience in management and as a business-owner. She is well-known in the Milwaukee community as a leader, mentor to young women, volunteer and activist, taking on the plight of the poor, disabled and the disenfranchised to heart.
Over 5 years ago, Ms. McMurray decided to become a Zeidler Group Facilitator as a way to grow personally and expand her repertoire of expertise in interpersonal communication and listening. Since that time, she has been an essential part of the Zeidler Group's Facilitation leadership team, supporting both the staff and participants with her dependability, breadth of expertise, clarity of communication and facilitation skills. She was honored as the Zeidler Group's 2019 Facilitator of the Year.
In 2020, with the retirement of Dr. Katherine Wilson, Ms. McMurray served as Interim Director and is now the Program Director for the organization.

Dr. Anita Zeidler
On Monday, September 3, 2018, we lost our dear friend and board member Anita Zeidler. She was the daughter of our Center’s namesake, Mayor Frank P. Zeidler, and she served as Treasurer on the Zeidler Center Board for 4 years. Her zeal for the Zeidler Group, and especially its work on behalf of the common good, will be missed beyond measure.
