Who We Are
The Zeidler Group is made up of hundreds of diverse facilitators in the Greater Milwaukee area and beyond who we’ve trained to facilitate small and large group processes.
We are committed to local &
Our facilitators come from
the communities we serve.
Our facilitators come from a wide range of experiences and professions, but they all value the power of listening circles, and believe in the actions of facilitated dialogue – building trust, humanization, deep listening, and speaking from the heart. We offer a public facilitator training every month, and private trainings for organizations and groups. Contact us for more information.

Executive Director: OPEN
In 2020, Pardeep Singh Kaleka agreed to step in as the Zeidler Group Executive Director during its transition period. His service was always expected to be temporary, because of his work as the Executive Director of Interfaith. Together, we have navigated many challenges, particularly those created by the pandemic. We have done some amazing work with communities, municipalities, agencies, and school districts during a difficult time. We have led some crucial conversations, including navigating police and community tension in communities like Wauwatosa, Milwaukee and we look forward to facilitating similar dialogues in Kenosha. We have also completed a multiple dialogue commitment aimed at improving mental health services for the community and are working on other dialogues aimed at improving area transportation and school district equity.
With the end of the pandemic now in sight, Pardeep has decided to step down from the Zeidler Group to create space for his family and other commitments. He will remain involved with the Zeidler Group and has offered to serve as a consultant, as needed.
Susan Tyndall, Board Chair, released a statement on behalf of the Board, saying “We would like to thank Pardeep for his leadership during a year of great challenge for the community. We appreciate his willingness to continue on as a consultant and help with the onboarding of a future Executive Director. Our organization is in a strong position and with board collaboration, staff leadership, and enthusiastic participation of our facilitator volunteers, we look forward to a successful future."
The Board is immediately commencing a search for a successor and believes that there will be significant interest in the position. If you are interested in learning more about the role and the search process, please contact the search committee via firstname.lastname@example.org.
Ms. McMurray has over 3 decades of experience in management and as a business-owner. She is well-known in the Milwaukee community as a leader, mentor to young women, volunteer and activist, taking on the plight of the poor, disabled and the disenfranchised to heart.
Over 5 years ago, Ms. McMurray decided to become a Zeidler Group Facilitator as a way to grow personally and expand her repertoire of expertise in interpersonal communication and listening. Since that time, she has been an essential part of the Zeidler Group's Facilitation leadership team, supporting both the staff and participants with her dependability, breadth of expertise, clarity of communication and facilitation skills. She was honored as the Zeidler Group's 2019 Facilitator of the Year.
In 2020, with the retirement of Dr. Katherine Wilson, Ms. McMurray served as Interim Director. With Pardeep Kaleka’s addition, Ms. McMurray will continue as Program Director for the organization.

Dr. Anita Zeidler
On Monday, September 3, 2018, we lost our dear friend and board member Anita Zeidler. She was the daughter of our Center’s namesake, Mayor Frank P. Zeidler, and she served as Treasurer on the Zeidler Center Board for 4 years. Her zeal for the Zeidler Group, and especially its work on behalf of the common good, will be missed beyond measure.
